Import Products from Your Computer

This article shows how to import products from files on your computer.

Quick way (cut sheets and packages)

1. Go to Products and click Import Products.
2. Stay on the Upload tab.
3. Drop your PDFs in the box, or click it to browse. You can add many at once.
4. For each file, pick Cutsheet or Package. A package is split into its products.
5. Click Extract.
6. Check the title, manufacturer, and part number for each row. Fix any that are wrong.
7. Click Save to library.

Full Import page (spec books, drawings, and more)

1. In the quick import window, click Spec books & drawings — full Import page.
2. Drag files onto the box, or click From Computer. You can use PDF, Excel (.xlsx), CSV, Word (.docx), PNG, or JPG.
3. For each file, pick its type from the menu (for example, Spec Book / Project Manual).
4. If you want, type tips in Specific Instructions for AI (Optional). For example: "Lighting fixtures only."
5. If you want deeper results, turn on Use Agent Pipeline. See "Agent Pipeline."
6. Click Start Import.
7. When it is done, check the products you want. Click Save to Catalog.

Good to know

• Click the X next to a file to remove it before you start.
• Spec books upload one at a time. The next one starts when the first is done.
