Library Import Products

What it does

You can fill your Library fast. Upload one file with many products, or pick cut sheet PDFs from your cloud storage. The AI reads each product's title, manufacturer, and part numbers for you.

Import from a file (checklist, quote, or schedule)

1. Go to Products and open Import Products.
2. Upload your file. PDF, Excel, CSV, and photos all work.
3. The AI lists every product line it finds. Uncheck any you don't want.
4. Click Import. The products land in your company Library — no project needed. Datasheets download automatically when a link is found.

Import cut sheets from Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive

1. On the Library page, click Import from cloud.
2. Pick your storage provider and select the cut sheet PDFs.
3. Each PDF is saved and read by the AI. The product's title, manufacturer, part numbers, and category fill in automatically.

Files that are not real PDFs are skipped with a clear message. One bad file never stops the rest.

Add a single product with AI

1. On the Library page, click Upload with AI.
2. Upload one cut sheet PDF. The AI extracts the details. You can edit anything before saving.

Good to know

• Everything imported this way is company-wide. Use "Add to project" to pull items into a job.
• You can edit any imported product later — title, price, tags, part numbers.
