This article shows how to change a product's details and its cut sheet PDF.
Open the editor
- On the Product Details page, click Edit Product.
- Or on the Products page, click a row and click Edit product in the quick view.
What you can change
- Title — needed. You can't save without it.
- Manufacturer
- Part Numbers — separate them with commas.
- Group, Quantity, and Unit.
- Quantities — see totals from Counts and Quotes. Click Use this to copy one into Quantity.
- PDF Document — click the box to upload or replace the cut sheet. Only PDFs work.
- Description
- Variants — for products that come in many colors or finishes. Click Add axis, or Paste price list.
- Components — items that come with the product, like a driver. Click Add component.
Click Save Changes when you are done.
Copy a product
In the quick view, click Copy product. Or select one product and click Copy in the bottom bar. Change what you need and click Create Copy.
Good to know
- A new PDF replaces the old one.
- For a quick fix to the title, maker, or part numbers, double-click the row on the Products page.
