When the Submittal Builder finds cutsheets for your products, it shows them on the right side of the Builder. This is the Select panel. You pick the right sheet for each product there, then build the package.
This is not the same as the Cutsheet Search tool in the sidebar. In the Builder you do not need a "Tools" tab or a filter. You pick cutsheets right there on the right side.
How it works
- Ask the Builder to build the submittal or find cutsheets. It searches and finds matches for your products.
- The right side shows one card for each product. Each card holds the matches the Builder found for that product.
- Click a card to open it. You will see the candidate sheets. Click one to preview it, then pick the right match.
- Wrong match? Type what you want in the refine box on that card — for example, "wrong manufacturer, use Jay R. Smith." The Builder searches again just for that product.
- Want to leave a product out? Click Skip on its card.
- When every product looks right, click Confirm & assemble. The Builder builds the package with your picks.
Common questions
It says "found cutsheet candidates for 1 item — pick the right match in the Select panel on the right." The Select panel is the right side of the Builder. Find the product there and click its card to see the matches.
The right side is showing a sheet from a different product. Each product has its own card. Click the card for the product you are working on now to see its matches. If it still looks wrong, refresh the page and open the card again.
I don't see a Cutsheet Search tab. You don't need one in the Builder. Cutsheets are picked on the right side of the Builder, not in the sidebar tool.
The separate Cutsheet Search tool in the sidebar is a different feature. Use it only when you are not in the Builder and want to search sheets for many products at once.
