The Submittals page is where you see, track, and review every submittal in one place.
What you see
The page has two parts:
- The register. This is a table of your submittals. It is also called the submittal log.
- The detail panel. Click a submittal's title and its details open next to the table. You review it there.
The old Submittal Review page is now part of this page. Old review links open here.
Pick which submittals to show
Use the switch at the top right:
- This project shows submittals in the project you have open.
- All projects shows submittals from every project. A Project column shows where each one lives.
Things you can do here
- Open a submittal. Click its title. The detail panel opens.
- Edit a field. Click any other field in a row, like the number or description. Type, then press Enter.
- Change a status. Click the status badge and pick a new one.
- Find submittals. Use search, Filters, Group by, and Views.
- Make a new submittal. Click New Submittal.
- Share a submittal. Click Share.
- Download the register. Click Download Register and pick PDF or Excel.
Buttons on each row
- The eye icon (Open in editor) opens the Submittal Editor.
- The file icon (Open submittal PDF) opens the PDF in a new tab. It shows only when a PDF exists.
- The robot icon (Review with AI) opens the submittal in the Submittal Builder.
- The share icon (Share submittal) opens the share window for that row.
Submittals agent
The Submittals agent button opens a chat. Ask it to change statuses, fix a spec section, or clean up the list. It asks you to confirm every status change and every delete. It does not build new packages. Use the Submittal Builder for that.
Common questions
Where did the status tabs go?
They were removed. Click Filters and check the statuses you want instead.
Where are Upload & Extract, Compare to Spec, and Generate Report?
Those buttons were removed from this page. To upload a package you already have, use the Submittal Builder. For a review letter, open the submittal with Review with AI and use the Review tab there.
Why do I see different words, like "Technical Submissions"?
The page uses the words for your company's region. See "Region and language."
